1: You can never have too many friends in life. An email sent is a friendship made.
2: Writing on message boards is like standing in the park with a megaphone, shouting at random passers-by. An email conversation is more two-directional, intimate, personal and relaxed.
3: I am a (mostly) normal, reasonably well-adjusted person with an interesting life outside of the internet. OK, so I have my DL side, but we've all got our cross to bear. I would love to talk here about my life but I don't want to reveal too many personal details in public.
4: I have never had any contact with anyone at all involved in the DL world, so I am desperate to "lose my virginity", as it were, and chat seriously about what it means to be a diaper lover.
5: I am a flexible, mobile person who likes to travel and get around. I enjoy new experiences, so I personally get a great deal from email friendships with people all around the world. It's cool having local friends but it's also nice to have friends from other cultures.
6: I believe in internet love: I have been there, done it and thoroughly enjoyed it! It didn't work out in the long-run but I would definitely like to repeat the experience. Despite what the doom-mongers might say, I believe for modern, forward-thinking people like me the internet is just as valid a way of forming relationships as more traditional methods. At the end of the day, people are people, friendship is friendship and love is love, no matter how you communicate and no matter how deviant the sex!
7: I believe that everything in life happens for a reason and I believe that the Higher Power (I won't use the word God because I'm not specifically a Christian) is watching me, guiding me to do this. I also believe that someone somewhere reading will feel exactly the same way, they will be guided by a Higher Power and will view emailing me as a vital part of their (and my) spiritual journey. Friendship and love are written in the stars, when you're supposed to meet people then fate makes it happen. So c'mon ladies, who feels the hand of fate impelling them to reply to me?!
8: Although I'm spiritual I am also realistic, down-to-earth, self-aware and I can see how absurd and ludicrous some of my above comments might sound. If you become my email friend you'll get a melting pot of the following ingredients: normal down-to-earth smalltalk and gossip; wild, wet'n'messy diaper talk; deep spiritual/philosophical discussions; all washed down with a side order of crap puns and cheesy wordplay!
9: The worst case scenario is I bore you or irritate you, in which case just add me to the 778 other spams you probably receive each day (if you use Outlook Express then you can even block my address). But the best case scenario is that an email friendship with me becomes a valuable, enriching part of both of our lives.
