2 Fair enough, we can chat your way if you prefer. At least you replied, I should be grateful for that! Anyway, it's a pleasure to meet you:-)
3 Maybe that's cos you haven't met anyone who arouses your interest YET! No man/woman is an island, so how about the civil engineers on Planet Kalory start building some bridges?!
6 If you're not a people person what kind of person are you? A cat person, a dog lover, maybe you're one of those jodphur-wearing horsey types?! No, fair enough, some people ARE scum. But if you're not a people person why are you posting on a vaguely humanoid-orientated message board? Who do you expect to read your posts, a bunch of robots?!
I believe in love cos I've felt it, I've lost it and lived to tell the tale. Sadly you're not the first woman I've come across who doesn't beleive in love, which makes me think us men need to sharpen up and start to educate you women about the reality of love.
Unfortunately, I seem to spend a lot of my time with women extricating them from emotional holes that their ex-boyfriends have thrown them into. Most of the time they willingly jump into these holes, by falling for loveless guys.
A classic self-fulfilling prophesy: a modern independent woman doesn't believe in love so she doesn't look for it, instead she lives for the moment and ends up by default with totally the wrong guy who (surprise surprise) doesn't treat her with love. And then that gives her reason not to believe in love, and so the cycle continues...Seen it a million times, well I'm here to tell ya love does exist, and I want to find a woman who I can educate (and who can educate me) in the reality of love.
7 I do believe in fate, in fact I went to one at my local village only a few weeks ago and won a cuddly toy in the tombola. Sorry, lame joke! Seriously, I can't speak for everyone, but everything in MY life has happened for a reason. Your viewpoint that fate doesn't exist is much the same as the viewpoint of those who watch David Blaine and think it's a genuine mystery. He knows exactly what he's doing and why he's doing it, the illusion is that it seems natural. Same as the Higher Power. Just cos we can't always see the workings and the way things happen behind the scenes, doesn't mean it's all random or unplanned.
10 I'm very glad you did reply in public cos that gives me the opportunity to reply in public! Anyway, you say you don't wanna, well sometimes you have to do things in life you don't wanna, I know that's a difficult concept for many lazy spoon-fed Americans to grasp (that WAS a joke btw!)...but life isn't all about sitting back and waiting for things to fall into your lap, it's about speaking up for what you believe in and going out and making things happen. That's exactly what I'm trying to do: to be proactive in looking for a DL partner!
