So because any attempt wouldn't be totally effective, no attempt should be made at all? Clearly you don't understand the concept of law enforcement. No law is 100% enforceable but if you just give up and stop trying because the job can never be finished, you're basically one step closer to anarchy. Besides, most copyright law doesn't even have to be enforced-- the owner just sends the offender a Cease and Desist, and way more often than not, that's exactly what they do.
The mods look through the sites as best as they can and they delete the links that might get their website into trouble. Yes, they miss things, but that's no reason to stop. What would you say if they decided that they could never block every spammer here and thus they shouldn't even try?
They're not trying to be FAIR, they're trying to be JUST. You're just bitching on principle because you got a post deleted. Listen to yourself! "Ohhh, Wetset doesn't allow us to get away with whatever we want, it's not fair! Ohhh, our mods are human and flawed, we're doomed, doomed!"
