Question for the computer savy

As a WebTV user I am not capiable of view RealVideos, AVIs or much of anythng truthfully. However, I do have a very powerful computer at my work equipped with a T1 line! So my question is...what risk do I take if I wanted to view some Wet AVI files at work? I know how to clear my cache and history and my cubical is sealed off.
