You are toughing on a matter of personal definition.
Webster (I think it is the first time I actually looked it up) refers to it as the study (even biologically oriented) of excrement. The word itself (in addition to other meanings not related at all) means excrement.
However, our use of the term is probably expanded a LOT from Webster. I have used it to refer to most of the things (activities) that I don't care to do, since my focus has been filling my panties. Things like smearing (although I did try it), putting it in places where (ordinarily) it should not be, consuming it; these are not things that I do, and these are the things that many of us consider 'scat' activities. I suppose filling panties, in some measure of definition (folding in Websters rescricted view), is a scat activity as well.
I have said many times that it is all about the poop, but that, too, is in reference to the substance in my panties - one can use any number of things to simulate poop in their panties.
I have many times been standing at the bathroom counter in just a bathrobe, felt the need to poop, and just let it fall to the floor. Had I had on panties, I would have filled them nicely. I have been known to do something like that when taking a shower. Is that a scat activity? Perhaps. I think of it as an extension of filling my panties. Except for the warmth of having it next to me, the sensations are much the same.
But here is the BIG question... how do we 'know who you are'?
