I try NEVER to let it get in the shower drain. How do I handle it when I poop? Depends.
If I am wearing panties, it is usually before I get UNDER the shower. Panties and I are still dry. Now, I will (sometimes) just shower that way, but in truth I have not done that in some time.
If not in panties, the poop usually falls to the floor of the shower, and I am forced to pick it up and dump it, which is why I tend to prefer panties (wet or dry)....
Never, never, never push your poop down the shower drain. The pipe from the potty is much bigger than the shower, and the shower is not designed for the usual bulk of the poop. Stopping up the trap could become the least of your worries. If you have to call a plumber to clear that drain, your (very expensive) secret might be out - if it IS a secret.
The purpose of the trap (in shower, in sink, in potty) is to avoid having odors come up from the sewer, and if your trap contains the source of the odor ---- well, you see the problem.
