Are you sure? I'm in Australia too and I think u might be right but I've been told that grey water doesn't go into sewage.. I guess the only other place it would go is into stormwater, but that seems unlikely. In any case, I try not to let too much go down the shower drain these days either (but I've put buckets of the stuff down the shower drain in years passed), just in case there is a plumbing or environmental issue. Also, as I live in a duplex, I'm a little paranoid about the possibility of common pipe terminals in the foundations allowing odours from my waste traveling up the pipes of my neighbour..
