Yes, this story was a little difficult to read. Ok, it was hard to read; but it was well worth it, I think. I really dont want to pick your story apart or give you the impression it is not a great work, but you have inspired me to say some things.
You were able to paint a very good picture of her desperation, for reasons that, when considered fully, do not make sense, unless she totally enjoyed what she was doing. But her expressions and her depressions were such that they indicated otherwise.
Several factors were a little incongruous, such as the fact that everyone except the first person ignored the things she was doing for all that time they were together. There appeared to be no pee odor in the van, or in the area of the couch, where she obviously emptied her very very full bladder. There was no poop odor even when they were all close together watching television. Was she wearing plastic or something that hid the odor effectively? Or were they simply ignoring it. Being young girls, I doubt they could totally ignore all that.
At one point, I began to think there was a conspiracy afoot - one in which everyone knew about Jody except the first person. I fully expected all of the other girls to suddenly laugh and reveal the revelation that they all knew what Jody does, and indeed that they all do; that Jody was the one selected to display it (she had the biggest poops, and the best holding ability), and wanted her (the story-teller) to know as well, probably in the hopes of drawing her into their special clic. But this never happened, even though she was obviously sympathetic to Jody's needs and feelings.
It didnt take her near enough time to clean up, particularly to concentrate on the odor that would linger on her if she didnt take more time. Here again, the odor eminating from her poop was benign.
Another interesting point, at least to me, was the fact that she had two enormous loads of poop in her backpack, and no one knew or even cared. It appeared to be a very normal thing for her to do. What did she expect to do with all that poop?
The entire story was totally plausible, however, when I put it into a different context: that of a very vivid dream. I have had poopy dreams, not 'quite' like this, and in none of them was there ever exhibited any odor from the poop that was there - and sometimes that was a LOT of poop.
So, for me, I have to say, "Thanks!!! for a great dream." AWESOME!
