Kirsten, I totally see where you're coming from, but the reason you get the attention is that girls into diapers are as rare as rocking horse shit! You ARE precious and exceptional, like gold dust. It's cool though, don't complain. As long as you're smart and upfront (which you seem to be) then don't let it bother ya and enjoy the attention!
I just came back from Japan and had SO much attention from schoolgirls many of whom had never seen a real life white guy before. Maybe I could have criticised them as being creepy - they were watching me, staring at me, laughing at me, even leering at me...but at the end of the day I can't turn around and call them "weirdos". They were just excited to see someone different who maybe turned them on (I'd like to think lol). It's human nature!
I think some of you women need to show a bit more sympathy and respect to us men, and definitely a lot more understanding. It ain't easy trying to combine this "thing" with a relationship, obviously we will make silly, gauche commetns from time to time because there are no guidelines on how we're SUPPOSED to deal with this. There may be a thousand books and movies about dating, how many books and movies are there about AB/DL love? None, we gotta make it up as we go along.
Yeah, sure some of us (me included) occasionally overegg the pudding and get a bit carried away, but you can't blame us or make judgements about us as human beings 'cos we happen to be looking for love. Why is that such a crime? Why does that make a man a "weirdo"? Why do many girls have a problem with "weirdos"? Wouldn't it be a boring old world if there weren't any weirdos in it!
I'm a weirdo and I'm proud of it, just like most of my compatriots here. A spirited, adventurous woman like you needs to pluck up the courage to speak to some of these men, confront your prejudices and listen to what we have to say. Rather than just instantly dismissing us as freaks cos we're making the effort to find love, you should take the time to listen to our stories and get to know us a bit better.
That also goes for any other ladies who happen to be reading - step aside from the glamour, glitz and finesse that may be lacking in our posts, and explore the men behind the words. You might get a pleasant surprise!
