For those who don't know I'm male and generally not into self wetting but did this both for "research" and for the group here.

I started at 1.20pm. Had finished my second beer by about 2.30pm. Not much of a beer drinker so it was not going down too well. Started my third beer about 2.45 already feeling the start of a need. Nothing very serious only a discomfortable full feeling. This wasn't helped by the fact that I was feeling bloated from the beer. Finished my third beer by about 3.15, was laid down watching a movie. Kept watching the movie for about 15 mins and noticed the need had gotten worst. By about 3.45 I was having to tense my muscles fairly often and it felt like my bladder was trying to escape through my tummy. Didn't feel like I was going to loose control. I got up at that point and switched off tv. Moving was painful and I was very surprised how quickly I was getting worse. Went up stairs to change into something that I didn't mind damaging. It was now about 3.55. Walking back down stairs was difficult, each step was producing a pain in my bladder. Not to mention I had a huge build up of gas (had to fart putting it bluntly) but couldn't without loosing everything else. I had a calm spell for a minute then a big urge hit me, really hurt and forced my muscle to relax. I felt some pee enter my penis and when I was able to tense my muscles again, it caused this little amount to squirt out. I am usually very good at control but this was getting beyond me. I had decided that, when the time came, I would run up to the shower but would stay down stairs as long as possible. I was pacing, as this was helping but kept getting little squirts. My cut of jeans had a distinct wet patch on them and were about saturated. It was about 4.20 and another really bad urge hit me. I started to pee a little and , as my jeans were already saturated, it started down my leg. I was just about to bolt up the stairs as I didn't want to loose it on thee carpet downstairs, but I was able to squeeze my muscles and stop. A little pee had made it to my knee and a few drops had somehow made it to my foot. I was unsure if I should head up to the bathroom or not as I was getting bad but decided to push it. About 2 mins later I felt my muscles go limp, not really an urge just the muscles seemed to refuse to respond to my request to close them. This resulted in a slow pee. I waited a few seconds to gain control but couldn't. By this stage pee was already flowing to thee tops of my knees and when I realised that I couldn't stop it I had to move. I had to break my own rule and hold myself as I quickly went up the stairs. My hand was not doing a great deal of good, other than to direct the flow, as it increased as I went up the stairs. I ended up loosing half on the floor of the shower room and half in the shower. I guess what surprised me, given that in the past I have rarely been desperate, was how quickly it hit me and, even at the end, I waited thinking I would regain control long enough for me to get to the shower, but my muscles just would not work.

Well, not really a story and probably reads more like a technical report but I hope it gives some insight and inspires others to try it as well and post their results.
