The differences are noticeable I think. I know especially after a big night on the town, or if I have a lot to drink and I'm very tired I will wake in the morning with an overly full bladder. The only way I can explain the feeling it is like someone took one of those wine casks, filled it and deposited it inside me. It hurts to move and you can't stand upright, you have to bend a little to stop the jabs you get in the bladder. But it is not difficult to control, ie hold on. The difference here I guess is the time it takes to fill up. Now when I relieve a bladder like this, it comes out in the slowest trickle and you can't push. I mean, in this circumstance I pee 5 mins plus at a painfully slow rate. Maybe I'm put together differently.
I do know there is a huge difference in the feeling you get depending on the rate you fill up. For me personally, if I rush it then there can be a sense of desperation. If I am drinking slowly then I can have a huge capacity. This is also very true of some girls I have observed over the years. You may recall a story I wrote about a girl and myself kind of competing in a pub. That particular girl I have observed to hold heaps of fluid when she drinks slowly. But other times she suffers major desperation after about 500mls of fluid and repeats the need, no matter how hard she tries, every 500 mls.
