Just checked Pro7's teletext page. The movie was "Im Dschungel gefangen" ("Held prisoner in the Jungle", or something), a 1997 US movie staring Kelly Jo Minter, Michael Biehn & Kathleen York, directed by Stephen M Anderson.
There's a repeat showing at 04.30 German time tonight, so set your video running!
