I always flush it down thoroughly with water except when the water in the building is shut off for repairs. It definately does take a lot less water than a toilet uses. Sometimes when the water is off I use an empty laundry detergent container and then dump it when the water comes back on. The water here gets shut off frequently but each time it does they make improvements in the system and now the preasure is much better and the hot water is usually hot.
I just they would do something about the guy down the hall from me who keeps pissing on the floor in front of the toilet. I'm pretty sure I know who is doing it because he never locks the door or turns on the light when he uses the toilet or the shower and I have walked in on him more than once. Sometimes I have to come back and put on my shoes before I can use the toilet. I think someday in the middle of the night I'm going to go down the hall and piss all over his door.
