Boy do I have a strange story for you...
This is sort of related to the idea of dreaming you're peeing on a toilet and waking up, peeing in your pants.
When I was married, we mostly slept in a water bed, but for a time, we slept on a bed with wooden slats and a simple, foam mattress. My wife and I used to have a lot of peeing fun in our pants, so peeing in each other's company, in whatever clothing we were in at the time, was pretty normal so there was not a lot to tell me that there was something strange about to happen.
Now I am a computer specialist, and I know that is how this particular instance happened. I was lying in bed on my back one night, and remember dreaming clearly that I was a computer and my print buffer had filled to overflowing. So, as you do if you are a computer, I initiated a dump of the buffer, printing it to the output device, which, again, being a computer, is just a generalised device, which depending on the setup, could have been anything from a tape drive to a printer or a telephone connection. What it ACTUALLY WAS, was my underpants and bed. But at the time I didn't know it. I could 'feel' the buffer purging its contents and I can remember feeling good about it. At some point, I remember sort of waking up and realising that I was peeing, but I couldn't feel anything. Apparently the urine was flowing straight through the foam mattress and into a shoebox under the bed, making a splashing sound, which is what actually woke me up. So there I was lying on my back next to my wife, peeing through my pants and the bed, not feeling anything, so I didn't try to stop it, given that I couldn't actually feel anything pooling, and I finished peeing like that, and went back to sleep. When I woke up the next morning, I discovered that my underpants, the sheet under my butt and the mattress there were all damp, (not wet) and under the bed was the saddest, soggiest shoebox I had ever seen. Somehow the laminated coating on the outside of the shoebox had kept all the urine from breaking through the soggy cardboard, and instead it had soaked the box from the inside out, completely, but the carpet under the bed was absolutely bone dry! I couldn't believe it. I had totally peed my pants and the bed and all I had to show for it was damp pants and mattress and a soggy shoebox. Go figure!
