I don't like to see "it sucked" either for exactly the reasons you mentioned although it has happened. A response like that does exactly what it says (sucks).
Leena may be almost cured but that doesn't mean she will no longer be seeing the doctor and that he will no longer use his skils of hypnosis on her. We'll just have to wait and see what happens.
