Thanks for your response, Havelock. (I presume you took your nom de plume after a certain Mr Ellis?). Yes, certainly I know for certain that Beatles and Stones fans wet themselves en mass and I have heard similar reports about The Beach Boys and about other sixties groups. In the seventies, the Bay City Rollers and David Cassidy at least had thousands of young girls wetting themselves.
I have never been convinced though that these girls wet themselves purely because of desperation and toilet deprivation. Knicker wetting seemed to go along with that total mass hysterical screaming that girls get into when watching pop idols. I have seen it suggested that, for a girl in this state, wetting her knickers is very like an orgasm and is as out of control as the screaming itself. I believe this may well be true but, not being a girl, it is difficult to know for certain. What do the girls and women think?
