The Importance of Flushing The Toilet
This 1,000 word essay is my punishment for leaving the toilet unflushed after I made a bowel movement in the toilet. I am very sorry for what I did. It is very important that you flush the toilet after using it – especially when you have a bowel movement in it.
When you leave the toilet unflushed after a bowel movement, it makes the bathroom smell bad. It also doesn’t look good when people come into the bathroom and see my bowel movement in the toilet. People should be able to come into the bathroom and not have to see my bowel movement sitting in the toilet. No one wants to look at my bowel movement in the toilet and it was wrong of me to leave it there for them to see.
When I leave the toilet unflushed, I leave it up to other girls to flush it. When other girls go into a stall and see a bowel movement still in the toilet, they have to flush it down. But it shouldn’t be up to other people to flush the toilet after me. It is my responsibility to flush the toilet after I use it and my responsibility to make sure my bowel movement is flushed down before I leave the stall. When the next girl goes into the stall, she should find a toilet that has been flushed and is ready for her to use. She should not have to find a toilet with a bowel movement in it.
Leaving a toilet unflushed can also create other problems. Sometimes someone may use the toilet after me and not notice that the toilet is unflushed. They could then have their bowel movement in the toilet without realizing that my bowel movement was already in there. Then there would be two bowel movements in the toilet and that would be hard to flush. When she’d try to flush the two bowel movements at once, the toilet might get clogged. That might create a mess if the toilet overflowed but even if the toilet was only clogged and didn’t overflow, it would make the toilet unusable to other girls who may need to use it. That wouldn’t be right and that would all be because I didn’t flush the toilet when I was supposed to.
You should always flush the toilet after you use it. You should flush it no matter what you do in the toilet, but it is especially true when you have a bowel movement in the toilet. When you have a bowel movement in the toilet and you also have a lot of toilet paper in the toilet from wiping yourself, it is really bad to leave it unflushed. I know a lot of girls use the main corridor girls’ room where this happened and this could have easily turned out to be a lot worse than it was. I am lucky that this didn’t really create a big mess in the bathroom. I’m lucky because not only would it have been wrong for other girls to not be able to use that girls’ room because of me, but that I would surely have gotten a worse punishment if that toilet would have gotten clogged and it made a mess in the bathroom. It wasn’t good that I left the bowel movement in the toilet unflushed, but it was good that someone did flush it before it got worse.
I know how lucky I am to not get a worse punishment than having to write this essay. I know that when girls mess up the girls’ room, they usually have to clean the girls’ room after school. I think that would be a whole lot worse than just having to write this essay. I could have gotten toilet cleaning punishment just for leaving the toilet unflushed, but I’m pretty sure I definitely would have gotten it if someone else had done a bowel movement on top of mine and the girls’ room would have gotten messed up because of it. I guess I really would have deserved toilet cleaning punishment then, but I’m really glad that I didn’t have to do that.
I know I could also have gotten a long punishment writing assignment like writing something 500 times. I had to write 500 times one time last year for going to the girls’ room during class without permission from the teacher. I had to go really bad and the teacher wouldn’t let me so I went anyway. I remember how long it took me to finish those 500 times and how bad the writer’s cramp felt. This punishment essay isn’t nearly so bad so I’m lucky not to have to write sentences like 500 times. But I know that I’ll get a worse punishment if I do this again.
I am very sorry for what I did. I didn’t do it on purpose – I’m sure you know that or I really would have gotten a worse punishment if I did this on purpose – but still, there is no excuse for leaving a toilet unflushed, even by accident. I don’t know how this happened. I guess I was just in too much of a hurry to get my business done and get out of the bathroom. I’m not saying that as an excuse, but just as an explanation for how it happened. I use the girls’ room at school a lot and I even do bowel movements at school a lot and I always flush the toilet. I am always careful to flush the toilet no matter where I am. But I guess I need to be more careful because I forgot to flush the toilet this time.
I promise that I will be more careful next time and that I will always flush the toilet – especially when I have a bowel movement. I will flush the toilet because it is my responsibility to flush the toilet after I use it. I will be more careful to always flush the toilet after I use it also because my punishment next time will be a lot worse than just having to write out this 1,000 word essay.
