Your situation is a little unusual. My first instinct is to think that maybe her accidents are genuine but that she's not handling them the way she should be and that they are probably a result of an emotional or psychology issue (sort of like feeling queasy when you're stressed, but more unusual and extreme). People that have frequent accidents typically take precautions and you did everything you could to help her avoid humiliation. It also seems strange that she's having such frequent accidents. Adults - barring a medical issue such as overactive bladder - do not generally become desperate to urinate (especially to the point of having an accident) on an hourly basis, to my knowledge. In any case, if she's avoiding your questions, that's another issue entirely. As for your last question, only you and her can truly determine what is causing this (although a doctor could maybe help you work through the issues). As for whether you should be concerned.... the answer is almost definitely yes. Whether this is a psychological issue or a medical issue, it is not being handled well by her and is not generally a typical (I hate the word "normal" lol) reaction to stress.
