Thank you, Doctor, for being so understanding about women who have experienced rape. I feel that not many people can understand how we feel and what we've gone through. I wouldn't expect them to and I'd hope they'd never encounter it first hand.
As a rape survivor (I was taught in therapy to use the word survivor instead of victim, it's more empowering), sex can be a difficult thing. This isn't to say I hate it or never want to have it again. There are just some sketchy areas. I do not have rape fantasies. In fact, if I was put into a play scene with rape involved I'd probably go into a panic attack. However, there are some elements of BDSM that I like. Spanking and punishments are some of them.
Everyone is different though. Different women and men (don't forget there are male rape survivors too), handle things differently and have different things they like and things that are triggers.
Finally, I don't think it's just rape that happens in childhood that fosters an ABDL side. Personally, I think I was always an ABDL even though I had a rather good childhood. However, when I was 16 I was raped and it brought it out even more. Again, everyone is different.
