That's an incorrect assumption. For some submissive women, "I own you" is the most erotic approach. I know one Dom who met his slave online and when they met face-to-face, he put a loaded gun to her head and told her that he would kill her if she ever left him and she orgasmed right there.
Your ideas about consensuality, aggressiveness and "gentle discipline" certainly aren't true of all submissive women nor necessarily true of women into diapers. There is no one archetype that fits all women into diapers. Some prefer a gentle Daddy as you suggest, yet others prefer a brutal Master, yet some enjoy something in-between, yet others don't role-play whatsoever, while yet others enjoy different dynamics. You shouldn't assume.
