I'd like to get the girl into a role as young as we can both enjoy (I idealize the crawling pre-verbal stage) but expect that it would take some time to get down there and be a measure of how comfortable I could make her feel.
I certainly don't think an off-the-deep-end "Hi,I own you!" approach would be as effective as gentle gradualism,even if discipline fits the relationship...hence my negative remark to the original poster.
