...there are a few points I tend to disagree with;-) In a friendly way of course!
Firstly, less of the negatives please. This is great, and you are all great! It's not pathetic...it's what I would call EMBRYONIC. Well, I'm sure people have been doing this for millennia, but it's a very new phenomenon for us to be discussing it openly. Therefore, like all things in the early stages of development we are still finding our way, finding our voice and setting precedents.
How many of you watch Big Brother? I don't, but I would imagine this is a similar set-up - lots of people with not much in common apart from the fact that, through a quirk of fate, here we all are under one (cyber-)roof! We've all gotta get along, not pick holes in each other and slag each other off but try to resolve any differences of opinion and get to know each other better.
It's tricky to talk about without falling into the trap myself, but anyone who makes a sweeping negative comment about the AB community is actually contributing to a self-fulfilling prophesy. I ain't a loser, I ain't boring...I'm a WONDERFUL, WARM-HEARTED, INTELLIGENT, FREE-SPIRITED human being. I don't want to believe that I'm the only one like that here, I want to believe that I'm surrounded by lots of other special, unique people.
So far, despite what the prophets of doom may say, I've been very impressed and interested in you all. I've only been here for a few weeks but I wanna get more involved, I wanna meet some of you, share stories, reveal personal details about myself, and ultimately find a lasting lifetime love and marriage!!!

Wrong, wrong, wrong!!! I would LOVE to devote the rest of my life to caring for a woman with special needs, wiping her butt, changing her diapers, sleeping in her urine-soaked bedclothes. I'd even give up wetting and pooping myself if I could find a woman who wanted to be the "baby" and me to be the "parent". If I feel like that, then who's to say there aren't others who feel the same?
I'm open, I'm flexible, I'm adventurous, I'm caring...I refuse to believe I'm the only one.
Finally, it's not a game to me, any more than being gay is roleplay or fantasy. As anyone who has seen "Secretary" (which has just become one of my favorite movies of all time!) will realise: it IS possible to turn this into reality, to do it day in day out for months, years and even decades, to incorporate it into a normal life.
I've turned the corner, I've broken down the mental chains and now I'm ready to devote the rest of my life to the quest for lasting wet and messy love. I may not get lucky, but you have to believe it CAN happen! You gotta be in it to win it.
Well stay cool people, I know arguments, messageboard politics and negativity do happen quite a lot here as on every single other message board I've ever been on (try the Michael Jackson boards if you wanna see a bunch of angry, illiterate loonies!)...but if you look at the bigger picture then you'll see a lot of love, friendship and compassion amonsgst the silliness!
