oh i totally agree the musicians in AudioSlave are fantastically talented but its like Chris's vocals are fighting with the music to out do each other.
I'm ashamed to say im not as aggressive as I used to be in searching out new music. So thats why my view of the music industry today is quite jaded. Lack of time, my age, and my own habbits keep me from being more knowledgeable about some of the newer talent. I just think music used to have so much more passion. Now it just seems thrown together and careless. Watch Eddie Vedders face in the Even Flow video or Kurt Cobain's emotion in the unplugged set and you can literally see their love of music and their passion for it flowing through them. You just don't see it or feel it anymore in music today.
