Awww I'm sorry you're frustrated. It is totally normal for a man at 28 to be looking for a long term relationship. It isn't unreasonable at all.
I can only speak for myself, so here goes. If I were even a little bit straight and looking for someone, then I would certainly put you on the "things to do" list:)
That old saying "it's not you, it's me" really is cruel, but it's true. I said the same thing to my ex-husband when he first met me. I married him because he was persistant and I was 20 (enough said); then we had a friendly divorce a year and a half later.
I am only online to play and search for answers to my homework. I would think many girls are not looking for online relationships. Go out and meet them in real life. The only thing holding you back is fear. The worst thing that could happen is they totally reject you. In the big scheme of life what does that really matter? It's not like rejection changes what a great guy you are.
