As the S.O. with the fetish, I guess what I would say is that I have been indulging my fetish (and masturbating myself to orgasm) long before I met my current GF. For me, the question is more like how to deal with a mismatch in sex drive, mine being greater than hers, and her being kind of turned off by the fetish that turns me on. (She's raised one kid, and professionally connects poorer old people with necessities like diapers).
I'm not looking for another sexual relationship on-line. I've gotten bored with the pictures, heck, was bored with playboy(famous U.S. girlie magazine) except for the party jokes when I was 15 because none of the models was smiling. But I do need to talk about the fetish from time to time, to make contact with other people who also enjoy it. It helps me not push some of my personal psychological issues off on my GF.
It's no different, really, than visiting any other on-line forum and talking with a crowd about the price of cheese.
The GF, for her part, also needs some private time on the net, spent mostly on a hobby forum. Her spending an equivalent amount of time on that engrossing hobby shouldn't be any less of an issue than my spending some time on wetset.
We both enjoy each other's company, bodies, and support, but both of us have also been in suffocatingly close relationships, too. There is a balance....
