I was away for a few days and missed the excellent exchange below regargding women's reluctance to show their true sexual nature. I agree with everything you said. I wish there were more frank discussions between men and women on these subjects.
I also agree with what you said about pornography for women. I wish there was more of it made for women. And why should we have to like the same things men like? Let us like our "nice" pornography, doesn't mean we are prudes or are afraid of our sexuality, just that different things turn us on.
On the subject of why women are afraid to show their sexuality or share their kinky side...come on... you men have to admit there are tons of media messages out there telling us men don't respect sexual women. It's not just parents that are educating young women you know. If men would start openly accepting women as SEXUAL BEINGS instead of SEXUAL OBJECTS things would progress nicely. Women could open up and be sexual or naughty or whatever you want to call it without getting a negative label slapped on them. (You could start by challenging your friends when they call a woman a slut or otherwise imply an openly sexual woman is worthless).
Admit it. A lot of men have a double standard. They say they want a sexual woman but they want to riducule her too, label her a slut. For men to say they want more sex or more kinky sex but still hold this attitude about sexual women (as perpeptuated in popular media) is the equivalent of collectively shooting themselves in the foot.
Women aren't going to open up and admit their sexual instincts en mass until it becomes socially acceptable to do so.
Oh, my point? Since its not socially acceptable to be sexual or kinky, there are a lot of women exploring their sexuality on the net's many sex related sites including ones like Wetset. I believe the majority of women's names on this board are indeed women. And probably a some of the men's names too.
