The question is, is your wife enjoying her wet panties or is she suffering from incontinence. If she enjoys it fine, if its the latter then something should be done about it.
Having been there for my wife following the aftermath of two pregnancies I can pass on what I know. Incontenence, or involuntary leaking of urine, is caused by a weakening of the pelvic floor muscles. It is common during pregnancy, and at antenatal classes women are made aware of what can be done to help prevent it. If the pelvic floor muscles are allowed to continually weaken, your wife is at risk of ending up with a prolapsed uterus (ie, she won't just be wetting herself, her uterus will literally fall out).
Nappies treat the symptom, not the problem. Like I said if your wife doesn't mind her pants being wet and isn't trying too hard to stop it happening then fine. As Lloyd says, enjoy it.
If not she should seek help, either from a GP or a good Natural Health Practitioner. Incontinence is a fairly common condition and she shouldn't feel embarrased about seeking help.
I don't mean to sound like a spoilsport but you're married for a long time. When my wife wets her pants, we like it to be for the right reasons.
