When my sister was at school, right up to the age of about 12 or 13, she would never go to the loo at school, for reasons which I could never fathom. Consequently she came home from school more often than not with wet pants, especially when she was younger. Even if she did make it home without pissing herself, she would make a very obvious bee-line ("pee-line"?) for the loo as soon as she got in through the front door. Woe betide anyone who happened to be in there at the time.
When she moved to the High School, this loo-phobia continued, but at least she had an "escape-route". We all used to wait for the bus sitting on a low brick wall (in full view of the police station!). Her friend Marion pointed out that if she sat well back on the wall, with her bum hanging over the back of the wall, she could relive herself without anyone knowing. They thought that I didn't know what they did (yes, Marion often joined in to keep Sarah company), but my ears were well-tuned to the conspiritorial girlish giggling, the casual fiddling with their skirts (pulling their knickers down) - and the tell-tale sound of pee hitting grass!
