I am reminded of Henry Kissinger who, while attending the Bayreuth Festival some years back explained, "At 8:00 we took our seats, the curtain was raised and it seemed that for several hours the glorious music of Wagner washed over me. Enough is enough, however, I looked at my watch and it was 8:15." I suspect Henry K is neither a Wagnerian nor particularly patient. Surely I can understand the squirming that must take place at Bayreuth.
