I've told quite a few people (mostly female - they're easier to talk with) and most of them just think it's funny! They tease me about it all the time, but whether any of them would be interested in engaging in watersports I don't know. I just keep it at the jokey conversational level: I doubt that I'd ever make the first move in suggesting we take it further. They know my interest so it would be up to them to move things along.
