I've been heartened by the amount of discussion arising from my
original message on 14 DEC "Are Our Numbers Increasing".
However, I don't think surveys here are the answer because this
would only be addressing people who have already shown such an
interest.
I think my original question was to wonder if wet pleasures of
all descriptions were somehow becoming more acceptable amongst
the general public. I think the only way we can tell this is
rather subjectively by observing how often the topic comes up in
entertainment, news, conversation and so on, and whether it is
reported or discussed in a tolerant or an intolerant way.
Personally, I feel that it is no longer such a taboo subject and
is starting to be accepted as a natural expression of
sensuality, especially among young people. However although I
can't prove it I have gained the impression from a wide ranging
(although discreet) discussion and questioning amongst my
friends and acquaintances. The responses have ranged from
interest to indifference - but so far no one has condemned pee
fun as "weird".
The interesting thing is: does this mean that w/s are becoming
more socially acceptable, or is it just that people are less shy
about discussing topics at the leading edge?
An interesting discovery: becoming more relaxed about such
discussions has allowed my casual acquaintances to respond in an
equally relaxed way and I have met with some unexpected sympathy
for my views. A couple have led to encounters that I'd like to
share with you later.
