The statement I quoted from memory "Use it all month long for protection against embarrassment from 'those little accidents'" was not on the box. It was on a little information sheet enclosed in the box. This was a long time ago . . . I don't know what, if anything, is provided now. My ex-wife used Kotex pads often enough for peeing that she once described them to me as her "weewee pads", even though she also used them for her period! This was before the widespread availability of panty liners and similar products, so Kotex (and, I seem to recall, Modess) was the only game in town for the wetting girl, short of diapers and/or rubber panties (tampons were then, as now, widely available along with Kotex/Modess pads for menstruation). As I've related in earlier posts, I did, as a kid, get upskirt peeks revealing two neighbor women wearing cloth diapers, and a 13 year old baby sitter wearing rubber panties! Now that I think of it, I also recall ads for a sport panty with an absorbent, waterproof, removable crotch. The ad told users that, with multiple changeable crotches, they could be "dry and comfortable" all day long, or while playing sports like tennis (which was depicted in the ad). Another ad featured an absorbent crotchpiece with belt, to be worn with "panties, girdles or skirts". Then there were the "Springmaid" panty ads by the Springmade Cotton folks. They always showed a beautiful girl with her skirt swirling up, or otherwise revealing her panties. One ad featured panties which they said were "waterproof"!
