HaPeePee, when I really have to go, I pinch the shaft (just below the head) with the thumb and index finger of my right hand, and with that hand in my pocket. I only do this when I am really desperate, usually when I have to wait for the bathroom for some reason. It really does nothing for me to hold it in, so I only do it when I must, but I do get some relief from this action. I have done this both in public and private, but more discreetly when in public. As far as someone watching me, it occasionally gets an interesting female look and I've enjoyed that, just as I'm sure that a few women perform the "pee pee dance" (which I thoroughly enjoy) to get a man's attention.
