The other girls were just worried about her. They kept watching, telling her to hold on, that sort of thing. When we were waiting to turn at the intersection and she advised she was holding herself now, I think the girls realised she was not going to last much longer. They were all giving me instructions how to get in the station and where to turn in as I did not know the place. The door to my left, the side where the toilet was located, was opened by the girl on that side long before I came to a stop to let her out.
The other girl who needed to go got out of the car and went in right behind her. I understand there were two stalls. The other two girls in the car did not need to go, which really surprised me as the one in the front I knew had not been for at least two hours and she is not a big girl and she had been drinking. She didn't go for another 45 mins when we got to another pub, which is where we all decided to go to make a night of it.
One girl in the back, who had been before we left, usually has very limited capacity and I expected if I saw any action she would have been the one, but there was nothing from her either.
The comment from one of the girls in the back, just after the bridge bump, surprised me the most. When she asked her if she was holding herself I guess she was trying to guage how desperate she was. When she asked that we still had 15 mins to go and the way the question was toned i suggested that if she was at that stage then she'd never make it. I found the interaction of the other girls really facinating. I work with these girls every day and get lots of good material from them as thet are very open with their conversations. The girl who was the main "contributor" in this instance has been desperate a few times in our office. Once I laughed as only she and I were left in the afternoon. She was in the fax room, which is about ten degrees cooler than the rest of the office, and she was doing the most obvious Pee Pee dance. I, jokingly, said to her that does not help the fax go faster then she announced she needed to pee. I told her I was just about to go for a smoke (one of us had to stay to mind the phones) and that I thought that was more important. She gave me a grin, knowing I was joking with her, and I told her to go.
I love my office for this stuff. It is the best.
