Yeah, right, you SAY you're not part of the Britney wet cover team... My bad, I thought it was Brittany, not Britney, shows how closely I follow the whole thing. You have a point, going on wild goose chases could be discouraging, perhaps better to just not bother following them unless there's a whole bunch of encouraging follow-ups to his original message.
