My longest timed hold is 28 hours, and I have gone over 24 on several occasions. My bladder probably could have lasted longer on the 28 hour hold, but the rest of my body was on the brink of exhaustion. My best measured volume is 1.4 liters, although I am normally in the 1.2-1.3 liter range when I am holding to extremes. As far as your problem with losing some squirts that isn't all that unusual. It usually takes me several minutes to completely empty my bladder after I have filled it to an extreme level. I wouldn't recommend doing it too frequently, as like any muscle the bladder can be strained. Once or twice a week shouldn't cause any problems.
