My husband would like me to share something that happened to me last week, since he finds this very amusing. One day, I was planning on going downtown to do some shopping with my three-year-old. Before we'd left, I'd made certain, my daughter went to the bathroom, but I didn't have to go, even though I'd been drinking a lot of juice, so I didn't bother. Even though, I know I should've gone, especially since I'm 15 weeks pregnant. So, we set out on the interstate (we live in the suburbs), right before morning rush hour. After only a short while, traffic got really heavy, and then an accident somewhere ahead stopped traffic all-together. Traffic moved only about half a mile in just over an hour and I was no where near an exit ramp when the urge to go to the bathroom was becoming very overwhelming. Close to another hour passed and traffic moved all of about one mile and I still wasn't by an exit. By this time, I had to go so badly, I was holding myself and apparently I must've been bouncing because my daughter asked me what was wrong. I told her and she announced she too had to go. Well, I told her to hang on and tried to myself, but it wasn't long before I started wetting my pants. I tried to stop, but I was beyond the point of return and ended up completely drenching my jeans and the car's seat. And my three-year-old? She managed to hang on until we returned home and she could use the bathroom. Since then, my husband refuses to let me forget the time when my daughter showed more willpower than her mother. :)
