Lurking at the bottom of the FAQ are some possible explanations for the delay:-
"After shooting these films..." [the 4 shit tapes] "John was so traumatised by what he had witnessed that he could not bring himself to edit them. They really were that strong. After the films were shot, we subsequently, and in good faith, advertised on our website that these films would be "available soon".
"However, they have stayed in John's desk drawer all this time (18 months) and we can only apologise for the fact that we advertised them perhaps somewhat prematurely.
"Now for some good news, bad news and good news!
"Good news! Very recently, John finally completed the editing of all four films. They will now all be available for sale (release date 29 April 2001).
"Bad news! For legal reasons, we will not be able to offer them for sale under any circumstances to UK citizens from our London address (they are just too strong for us).
"Good news! If you wish to purchase them from John direct, you may do so. John now lives in Paris where this category of film is quite legal. If you wish to contact John you may do so..."

Of course this doesn't really explain why the pee tapes have been left on the shelf so long, and I'm not sure about these "legal reasons" as watersports videos aren't legal to sell in the UK either. HWV Media have a UK operation which sells hard scat tapes.
And I hope "John Dare"'s re-location to France won't stop X-Streams shooting their public pee tapes in England. As an Englishman this was always a major factor in my enjoyment of them.
