Tammy, being male I am ineligible to enter your contest. My guess is that some ladies, although only rarely, wee just a little bit when they already need to go and then fall into sustained laughter about something, e.g. those heavily pregnant or those who have recently given birth are said to be at risk of this. I have never known that happen to any lady friend of mine in my presence. If it did, she kept quiet about it. Similarly, very rarely, it must happen that a lady has a small leak when dashing to the loo in very urgent circumstances. Again this has never been admitted to me, although I did know a lady in the late seventies who had a problem down there. She never wet herself when out with me; this is not surprising since she always went to the loo before leaving her flat, as soon as we reached our chosen pub or restaurant, before we left it, and refused to travel on the London underground system because there are no loos. It was a subject of great worry to her, it ruled her life. I do believe that she did wet her knickers a few times, both before and after she sought medical help, in the circumstances which she admitted to me. These were, apart from one on her doorstep, that having walked into her flat and closed the door, somewhere between the front door and sitting on the toilet upstairs (first floor flat, separate ground floor entrance) she just couldn't hold on and wet her knickers, sometimes being able to stop the flow temporarily so as to make it to the loo and then continue and on other occasions not even being able to do that. In her case the diagnosis was stress - mentally she relaxed so much as soon as she was safely back home that her brain couldn't tell her bladder muscles that they had to carry on working for a bit longer. As to fear/terror, someone will quote actual cases of this. It seems that it really does happen, though how often is anyone's guess. So many people are so brave that it must be only a very small percentage. In addition there is shock. Very occasionally I have heard of cases of ladies wetting themselves after being involved in a road traffic accident here in England, but four or five such cases out of scores of accidents is again a very small percentage.
