Some of my earlier experiences were not unlike yours. Frequently, alone in the house while hubby was at work, and finding the urge to poop, I would just continue to work while I let my poop into my panties (usually about mid-morning), and just remain that way as long as I dared, with time enough to clean up and air the house before hubby returned.
The butterflies are very normal. I know I had them my first time, and you will find, in your future, that they may return as you do it more and more. That's ok - it is part of the experience.
It seems your friend played a part too - forcing you to hold your poop to the point of a greater urgency - that's awesome. I do hope she can recover from her challenges, but I wonder if you were able to concentrate much on her while you talked - that would have been difficult for me in the same situation.
Most would not, on their first time, sit on their poop to see how that felt. I must applaud you for that. Also, most would not think to push their hand into the bulge like you did. I must applaud you for that, as well! Seems you did thing your first time that even I never did for years after I started.
The challenges you faced getting it started are not uncommon, but can be overcome with patience and practice. One does not have to bend or stoop to poop, particularly when they are pretty urgent. I almost never do that any more. In fact, I have to shower for work in a few minutes, and you have promoted me to do it again. Mine will be short-lived, because it is getting late, but it will still be pretty awesome.
The mess and the odor are part and parcel of what we do. It is best if you simply make the cleanup a part of your enjoyment, and don't worry about the guilt or shame that you feel. I went through the same emotions many times - in fact, it was not until I discovered that I was not the only girl in the country, indeed the only girl in the WORLD that pooped her panties that I totally lost that part, and wondering why, and telling myself each time that this had to stop. I went on to discover that this is part of me, it is what I do - it is part of who I am.
