Yes, it is sadly true, Mrs. Cardely and I did drop little Joey on his head many a time when he was a lad. We surely didn't mean to, but being drunk most of the time, well, we didn't know whether to shit or wind our watches, much less how to care for a child. My wife is a dear soul, but as she is my sister, she can't be blamed for not being too bright. Please, forgive us our mistakes, lord! Pray for us, Reverend Trask!
