Well, the way the internet works is this:
(I am going to avoid getting too technical.)The internet itself is comprised of server computers directly wired together. When you connect to the internet, you either dial in with a modem, or are directly wired into it, with your DSL line. What you connect to is a very fast, powerful server computer with many modems. This server computer is connected with other server computers to make the internet. Servers can host domain names, which are stored on server computers. When you register a domain name with a company, it is on their server. Now, you can only download from a server as fast as the server is connected to the internet. I would think that Berties is running a very slow server, because other sites on fetish.sexhound.net run crappily. You could have a T3 line and still get the old 500 bytes/second when downloading from Berties. As for what you can do about it, nothing.
