I don't blame your LG for not wanting thick nappies, at least in the daytime. Have you any idea how uncomfortable it can be to try and walk or run with a great wodge of towelling jammed between yor legs? Even if they're dry they can rub the insides of your thighs and make you hellish sore. Add in a drop of pee and you've got agony.
Nappies are fine for bedtime, but for daytime wear it has to be something much more comfortable; disposable pull-ups are fine if you don't give a **** about the environment, but thick cotton trainer-pants are much better, more comfortable and easy to wash.
Or just go with big-girl panties and use them like a nappy. That's what I do. Daddy accepts the odd puddle on the floor as part of what having a Little Girl about the place is all about.
