It's not easy being grown up. I know the situation your going through although, I was able to accept it by myself and overcome it... It's easy to become discouraged. But, I'm sure that you can find a guy that will except you for being childish at times or more so than often.
Outside my fetish on the internet I peronally am a very shy when it comes to the ladies. I personally look for a girl who can although take care of herself at times, but will also look rely on me mostly. This is outside of my girlfriend or future wife having a job if she chooses too.
I say keep acting your age, or not (hah you are lg at heart). You'll find the right guy to accept you for who you are. Your to young in my opinion to be worried, come on your only 18 I'm 21 and I've yet to find the right one.
Good luck in your prospects and don't worry you have lots of friends in cyber space (some more so than others) to help you out.
