Hello strict, little Bethan:) and everyone else!
I recently reconnected with my first babygirl. i always diaper her before we go out and she is never without her binky. she uses her binky while we are out and other than a few looks nothing negative has happened. she uses sippy cups in resturants and other than a few odd looks nothing else has happened. her diaper and plastic pants are always visible when she bends over. i love having her diaper exposed and she does too. she calls me daddy while we are out together and that also turns some heads. if we go somewhere that is crowded, i use my toddler leash on her. she is very into the leash and that also brings some attention as well.
if your comfortable with each other, playing in public is a breeze. i cannot reccomend changing your little one in a public restroom enough. ask for a private or handicap bathroom. changing a little one in public is always an amazing experience. i have and would spank a little one in public if she is being naughty. i never think to hard about any of this really. its easy for us because we dont see ourselves in "roles". we just are who we are. im a daddy and she is a babygirl. it isnt a scene or roleplay for us. good luck exploring with your little one!
