I think that is a fair comment. I guess certain little girl behaviour and props are what it is about. Much of that is not age specific but some is...like talking, walking and eating. I guess putting an approximate age to your little girl gives an indication of that stage of her developement.
Although we all have similar desires there are so many nuances to this lifestyle I think putting an age to yourself/your little girl is a good starting point.
