For me - pyjamas of various types: footed pjs, brushed cotton when it's cold, thin cotton in the summer. I also have a couple of pairs of jammies with shorts for the summer. Daddy also bought me a very pretty pair of white broderie anglaise jamas – the bottoms come just down to below the knees and have ribbons on them. Only difficulty is that they’re not really designed to accommodate a fairly thick night-time nappy so are bit of a tight squeeze. That’s kind of nice too though – and we both enjoy the sight of the tell-tale bulk in the seat of the jamas.
Always terry nappies and plastic pants at night rather than disposables. During the recent hot weather daddy has occasionally put me to bed in just a t-shirt and nappy - particularly for my afternon nap. For some reason, intitally it left me feeling a little bit naked but I definitely got used to it. And Daddy said that he loved coming into the bedroom when I was fast asleep and seeing me with the sheet pushed back, my wet nappy on display and sucking contentedly on my dummy – he said it looked so natural. And, to be honest, that’s the way it now feels – my bedtime attire and routine has gone from being almost a game to something which I know is so right for me. I struggle to imagine these days going to bed without a nappy and a dummy – they provide such a sense of security. I do wonder if it’s why I struggled with sleep problems for most of my adult life before I embraced the little girl in me.
