I have always been partial to overalls. I can't tell you why, but I've always found them especially cute on little ones.
Binkies as they're called by the one I'm looking after, are usually a must, if not a bottle. If its particularly warm, usually a light t-shirt, diaper, and a sheet work well. I call it a baby burrito. You basically swaddle her up and cradle her in your lap.
That and it makes it that much harder for her to squirm when you tickle her.
But that's just my thoughts.
