Baby Trish makes some very good points. We in this community tend to put some very personal aspects of our lives out front in order to hook up with like-minded people. And we do this before we're totally clear on what the other person wants or who they are. Given that, it's a wonder any of us finds anyone. But we do. And, when we do, it all seems worth it... if only for a season.
As for me, I've had all of the same disappointments many times. And I've connected with one very sweet, lovely baby girl with whom I've had some wonderful on-line adventures. (Coincidentally she too has largely dropped out of my life now, quite busy it seems. But I think I'll get acquainted with a new real little girl who wants an on-line fun daddy who's into loving, stroking hair, sloppy wet kisses, accidents, diaper changes, nurturing, reading stories and even mild discipline if she wants.)
