I'd be careful with that. A lot of stories have that plotline, but people can be sensitive and there is a lot of conditioned social stigma about wetting and diapers.
If you joke about putting her in diapers, that might even hurt her feelings. Instead I would feel her out to see how she feels about the wetting and then maybe the diapers. If she's upset about wetting the bed, then leave it alone, and be supportive, if she's joking about it, then joke with her, that maybe she needs diapers, and see how she reacts.
Talk with her about fetishes, see if she has any unusal fetishes or turn ons, and talk about yours too. If she doesn't then take it slow, and see how she feels about fetishes and ageplay in general.
But if you suddenly come home with diapers, or say your going to diaper her out of the blue, you might creep her out or hurt her feelings.
